Belgorod residents believe that Prince Vladimir Krasnoe Solnyshko had a hand in the founding of their city, although it is hardly possible to find architectural monuments of that time (or their ruins) here. The oldest churches in Belgorod date back to the 17th-18th centuries, the rest of the sights are the property of later eras.

The city will be primarily interesting to fans of museums and parks, as well as the modern design of the Philharmonic building and the original appearance of the temple of Faith, Hope, Lyubov and their mother Sophia built in our time.

Belgorod looks pretty nice, especially in the warm season, when it's time for long walks in the evenings and a series of sunny days. In summer, it is good to walk along one of the central squares, ride a bike or sit in a small cafe.
