Dzhubga is the first resort town that meets travelers entering the Black Sea coast from Krasnodar and Goryachiy Klyuch. Tourists choose this place because of the mild climate, clean sea and long strip of beaches. Dzhubga is constantly developing in terms of infrastructure and every year it is ready to offer its guests more and more various entertainments.

Despite the small size of the resort, there is a dolphinarium, a water park and a theme park with dinosaurs, where people come from Tuapse and neighboring settlements. The choice of hotels in Dzhubga is quite wide - from inexpensive private hotels to large resorts. Perhaps the only drawback of the town is transport accessibility. In the high season, it is quite difficult to get here due to the many kilometers of traffic jams.

What to see and where to go in Dzhubga?

The most interesting and beautiful places for walking. Photos and a short description.

Central beach

The beach stretches along the bay for 1 km (the total length of the bay, on the shore of which Dzhubga is located, is 4 km). It has a sand and pebble cover, and in some places it is entirely made of sand. Main advantages: gentle descent into the sea, shallow bottom at a sufficiently large distance from the coast, which is convenient for children, well-developed infrastructure and a large number of entertainment for tourists. Among the shortcomings, one can single out a large filling of the beach during the peak season.

Water park "Dzhubga"

The water amusement park opened in 2009. The season runs from May to September (weather permitting) as the slides are open-air. In summer, in dry weather, foam parties are held here every day. The water park is quite spacious - 16 slides, 12 children's attractions, spacious recreation areas and spacious swimming pools. Up to 2 thousand people can stay on the territory at the same time.

Dolphinarium "Nemo"

In addition to shows with marine animals, the entertainment center offers swimming and photography with dolphins, as well as dolphin therapy sessions. In addition to bottlenose dolphins, seals and lions enter the arena to please visitors with their skills. The performance under the guidance of an experienced coach turns into a real celebration for every guest, capable of giving unforgettable emotions.

Jurassic Park

The park is located next to the dolphinarium. On its territory, visitors will be able to plunge into the incredible atmosphere of primitive times and find out what happened on Earth millions of years ago. Tyrannosaurs, Diplodocus, Stegosaurs, Apatosaurs and other ancient animals are so skillfully crafted that they terrify adults and cause indescribable delight in children. Once in the park, guests find themselves in a real jungle, where danger awaits at every corner.

Museum "Quirks of the Forest"

A small exhibition of works made of wood, made by the master A. M. Gzhelyak. The exposition is located in two halls: in the first (small) one, visitors can get acquainted with the artist's biography and the main milestones of his career, in the second - see his works made of roots, bark, twigs and snags. There are both small figurines of animals and fairy-tale characters, as well as sculptures in full human growth.

Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

The church was built in the 1990s to replace the destroyed church of the 19th century. It is a four-sided brick building with a hipped roof and a bell tower. The unadorned façade is covered in white paint, the porch is designed as a portico with supporting columns, and three domes are crowned with blue cone-shaped towers. The church has a Sunday school and an Orthodox library.

Dolmen

The Dzhubginsky dolmen is the most impressive structure of this type in the Caucasus. It is built of large slabs and has the shape of a closed courtyard. It is believed to have been built in the 3rd century BC. What it was intended for is a mystery. Supporters of the alternative theory of the emergence of human civilization come to look at the dolmen, and at the same time "charge" with cosmic energy.

Colonel Falls

The cascades are located 10 km from the village of Polkovnichy - they can be reached on foot or by car adapted for off-road driving (UAZ is best suited). The largest waterfall is 18 meters high, the rest are of more modest size. If you choose a walking route, then on the way to the sights you can enjoy the beauty of the Caucasian nature and breathe plenty of fresh air.

Mountain hedgehog

The hill is about 250 meters high, which received such a funny name due to its shape, which really resembles the body of a hedgehog - a back covered with needle-like trees and a rock-muzzle protruding into the sea. From the outside, it seems as if the animal came to drink water. Uplands border the bay from the west. If you climb to the top of the Hedgehog, you will see a panoramic view of the surroundings.

Inal bay

The bay is located 10 km from Dzhubga. It is very popular with tourists who choose to rest in the vicinity of Tuapse. The sea in the bay is notable for its cleanliness, calmness and transparency of the water surface. A wide strip of pebble beaches stretches along Inal, which can accommodate hundreds and thousands of vacationers - its size is so large. Along the coast there are recreation centers and hotels that form a kind of resort village.
