Central city beach

The central beach adjoins the city port and stretches for 1.2 km along the coastline. This is the main swimming area in Tuapse. It is covered with small pebbles, in some places diluted with sand. Due to the shallow entrance to the sea and a gradual increase in depth, the water here warms up quickly enough. A little further away is the city embankment with numerous cafes, bars and shops.

Tuapse pier is considered one of the largest and busiest on the Black Sea coast of Russia. It was founded in 1898 and today is engaged in the acceptance and dispatch of large dry cargo vessels (mainly fertilizers, grain and vegetables), oil transportation and passenger transportation. A group of cascades located a few kilometers from the mouth of the Dederkoy River. The height of the largest ones is about 7 meters.
