Loo is a resort area included in the Greater Sochi agglomeration, formerly an independent village. It is surrounded on three sides by the wooded slopes of the surrounding mountains. The federal highway and railway lines pass through it, so it is very easy to get here. Loo temple
The ruins of a medieval church from the 10th century, which until the 15th century was used for divine services, and then was converted into a defensive structure. According to the results of the archaeological expedition of 1987–97, it was concluded that this is a Byzantine temple, erected in the appropriate style from shell rock and limestone slate. According to one of the legends, at this place the pagans tortured one of the 12 apostles of Christ.
Water park "AquaLoo"
The complex is not very large, moreover, it was built quite a long time ago, so sophisticated tourists can get bored here and find many flaws. In the open air there are several standard slides - pipes and slides, a relaxation area with sun loungers and a swimming pool. There are also several attractions inside the premises. Waterfall "Paradise Delight"
The cascade is located within the territory of the Sochi National Park, it is located in the bed of the Loo River, flowing among fragrant groves overgrown with beech, hornbeam and boxwood. Loo Central Beach
The main beach of the village is located on the territory of the bay and stretches for about 1.5 km. The cover is a mixture of dark sand and pebbles, with a clear preponderance in favor of the former. There is a very shallow entrance to the sea, where wooden paths lead, which is convenient and safe for children. The beach is equipped with everything you need: there are umbrellas, sun loungers, a changing room, a bathroom, as well as attractions, cafes and equipment rental points. A sea taxi to Novorossiysk departs from the local pier.
