From February 2 to February 9, the legendary carnival will be staged in the Italian town of Vercelli. According to historical data, the enchanting performance dates back to the 14th century and is considered one of the most famous in Piedmont. The presentation of the colorful event took place in January, but the celebrations themselves are scheduled for the first week of February. So, on the 2nd, the official symbols of the event come into their own - these are the historical dressed-up personalities of Majutin, Pampardш and Stevulin'd Plisera.
With the onset of dusk on February 4, a colorful procession will return to the streets of the city, which will be a preface to the opening of a large-scale celebration. The main components of the celebration are dancing until you drop to fiery melodies, an abundance of food and drinks. The celebrations continue until late at night, which will undoubtedly appeal to all tourists and locals.
But the celebrations will not end there. Already on the 6th, the holiday dedicated to the Mask will begin, and from 22 o'clock in the morning everyone can take part in the dance marathon. Festivals, mummers' processions continue from 7 to 8 February, where everyone can taste the best dishes and wines of the event. Well, the epic conclusion of the celebration will be the burning of a scarecrow in the central square of the city, after which a night disco will begin.
A calmer February program is offered by Spain. So, on the 27th of the month on the basis of the restaurant La Casa del Patrón de Murgнa, in Alava, the Days of Haute Miniature Cuisine will be held. The best chefs in the world will arrive in the Basque Country in order to show their skills in preparing not only delicious, but also miniature dishes. By the way, Mexican chef Benito Molina, who will have to fight with his main opponent, his wife Solange Muris, has also applied for participation in the competition.
In total, ten famous culinary experts of Mexican and Spanish cuisines will take part in the event. But the chefs will not only cook and compete with each other. The organizers promise several master classes, and on February 28, a tasting of dishes from the chefs will be organized for everyone.
