The grand celebrations will take place in Valencia from 14 to 19 March. But this time the event will drag on for almost a month. But the good news doesn't end there. After all, the celebration will be watched by representatives of the world organization UNESCO, who will have to decide in the coming autumn whether to include Las Fallas in the list of the cultural heritage of mankind. The organizers of the colorful action themselves submitted a corresponding petition the year before last.

By the way, the idea of including the holiday in the aforementioned list of world heritage has not only supporters. Citizens and even officials who oppose this event argue that irreparable harm is caused to nature during the burning of a giant figure (the final part of the celebration).

As for the celebration itself, this year the organizers decided to focus on the fireworks show, which is scheduled at midnight on March 12. The events are planned on the boulevard near the city hall. On the 16th and 19th, parades of participants are planned, as well as the presentation of flowers to the image of the Virgin.

There will be another unconventional element this year. The 190 lucky people who were the first to apply will be able to enjoy the show from the balcony of the administrative building, where they are provided with free admission. Throughout the celebration, cannon fires of exploding firecrackers are heard. Every year Las Fallas gathers thousands of tourists who come from all over the world for vivid impressions.
