St Patrick's Day is celebrated in Dublin every year in mid-March. The holiday is visited by many caring tourists who, for several days, participate in colorful events, festivals and parades.

This year, tourists who want to take part in the celebrations should plan a trip on the 17-20th, during which the main events will take place. Guests of this festival will be offered not only to take part in a colorful parade, but also invited to taste the best seafood dishes. All this will be accompanied by bright performances of dancers and musical groups, as well as unusual light shows.

Since the official color of the celebration is green, the facades of the buildings will be given the appropriate shade with the help of powerful illumination, and the participants will wear green suits, paint their faces and even beards in this color! The symbol of the celebration is the shamrock, which can be seen on the hands, faces, and other parts of the body of celebrating Irish people and guests of the city. It is believed to symbolize the unity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and is dedicated to the most significant event in the history of Ireland - baptism.

Do not forget that the Irish holiday itself is considered religious, during which it is customary to attend church and arrange national feasts. And only in the late afternoon the celebrations develop into parades and large-scale concert events.

In the center of the parade is a hero in the guise of St. Patrick, who leads a crowd of thousands of participants. To keep the throats of the singing Irish from drying out, their favorite drinks are poured like a river in local pubs, and dance groups compete among themselves for the title of the brightest and most fiery participant in the parade.

Guests of Dublin are introduced not only to the celebration, but also to the national cuisine. The pubs offer signature dishes such as Quick Irish Stew with specialty bread, pastries, apple cake and ice cream punch.
