Amazing Amsterdam appears to some tourists in the form of the homeland of tulips, which amaze with their color palette and huge habitats. In the eyes of other guests, the Dutch capital looks like a center of vice and debauchery, where the world-famous Red Light District exists. For aesthetes, the city is ready to open the doors of numerous exhibition halls, which contain many world masterpieces that every connoisseur of painting would like to see in his collection.

There is no doubt that tourists will have something to see in the main city of Holland. Everyone will find a lot of useful things to do, and will be proud to tell friends about their exciting adventures on the other side of Europe. Today we have to figure out how to get to Amsterdam.

Plane

The fastest and most attractive way for Russian tourists to be in Holland is by air. Both domestic companies (Aeroflot) and European carriers (airBaltic, Turkish Airlines, Belavia, Pegasus, SAS and many others) are ready to offer their services in this direction. You can choose both economical flights in all respects, and give preference to the services of those carriers who make direct flights from Sheremetyevo to the main Dutch airport. And now about everything in order.

The fastest way to get to Amsterdam is to fly on the planes of the Russian carrier Aeroflot, which today make three flights every day. The first flight is scheduled for 10:25 am, and the last one leaves Sheremetyevo airspace at 20:45. The main advantage of the Russian company is that passengers will not need to transfer at intermediate airports. In just 3 hours 45 minutes, the domestic aircraft will land at the Amsterdam airport. The cost of a ticket for the flight will be almost 13 thousand rubles.

Those who like to travel more economically are advised to take a closer look at the offers of other carriers who are ready to deliver tourists for a more modest price. An excellent solution would be to fly on an airBaltic plane, which will cost travelers only 7,600 rubles! Of course, you should not count on the fact that you will fly to the Netherlands in such a short time. After all, you have to come to terms with minor inconveniences caused by the need to make one transfer at the Riga airport. You will have to spend at least 50 minutes in the waiting rooms, and the flight time, accordingly, increases to 5 hours. It turns out that on a flight that will take you only 75 minutes more, you can save more than 5 thousand rubles!

Bus

You can also get to the capital of Holland by bus. Today, the Ecolines company is ready to offer its services to lovers of land travel, the buses of which leave every two days from the Rizhsky railway station. Departure time is 20 hours 30 minutes, but we advise you to check this information on the official website of the carrier. Be prepared for the fact that you will have to spend at least 49.5 hours on the way. But you can enjoy the beauty of Riga, through which the route runs.

Trips are carried out on modern comfortable buses, which are equipped with comfortable seats, sockets for recharging tablets, laptops and other gadgets (220 V), free Wi-Fi, as well as a multimedia system. Periodic stops are planned. The fare starts at 7470 rubles.

There is another way to get there by bus. To do this, you have to make a transfer at a bus station in one of the European countries. As a rule, tourists choose a route that runs through Germany or all the same Riga. Since such a trip has a more complex structure, be prepared for both additional costs and a longer trip.

A train

Today there are as many as three routes by rail, along which you can get from the Russian capital to Amsterdam. All trains leave daily from the Belorussky railway station platform. Two express trains are scheduled for the evening and leave at 16.30 and 17.30 local time, and one train starts at 22.15. The fastest route is via Frankfurt am Main. If you hit the road with this express (leaves at 16.30), you can be in the Dutch capital in 23 hours!

The remaining trains run through the German and French capitals. The road through Berlin will take at least 2 days and 2 hours, and the trip with a stop in Paris will take approximately 42 hours.

If desired and financially available, you can also be in the Netherlands by car. Of course, such a trip is fraught with some inconvenience, high costs and the need to issue permits when crossing the border of European states. But if that doesn't scare you, you can risk it!

So we figured out how to get to Amsterdam. We wish you a pleasant trip and wonderful travel companions!
